Squidward was relinquished to Save-A-Pet by a family that could not afford emergency treatment once they learned that he had a urinary blockage. In short, Squidward underwent multiple surgeries, treatments, and recovery processes.
Here are current costs on vet expenses thus far:
- 6 days of catheters and hospitalization
- 2 days hospitalization, 1 blood transfusion, and a PU Surgery
- Primary Vet Exam and Xray, Continued complications
- Emergency Exam, UA, Pain Meds, Antibiotics, Anti-inflammatory medication
- Emergency Exam, Ultrasound, Catheter, Repeat PU surgery and cystotomy (stone removal)
Total: $15,150!
Post-surgery Update:
Squidward is doing great. He had some difficulties with his surgery but, all in all, it was successful. He remains in recovery and staff can't stop raving about how sweet he is. They have issues listening to his heart sounds because he is forever purring and making biscuits (kneading).
Please help us with the mounting-costs associated with Squidward’s care.
It is because of Save-A-Pet’s PURE no-kill-mission that Squidward was given the care he needed and deserved; please be part of that amazing gift to Squidward.
