Save-A-Pet's

Trap Neuter Release Program

. . .

THANK YOU! WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL!

A senior citizen, George, reached out to us and other organizations for help. George is recently widowed and cared for his terminally ill wife for the past 2 years at home. His wife loved cats and, prior to her illness, she had brought in a few strays. Once George's wife became sick, George put all of his focus on her care and did not realize the cat multiplication that was happening in his home.
We are able to get kittens that can still be socialized into foster care and adopted to homes, but due to missing critical socialization, the rest of the cats would be considered very difficult to adopt out. However, we would like to help George and the cats through our Fixin' for Freedom Trap-Neuter-Return program to get them all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Please help us help George! No donation is too small!

About Us

Save-A-Pet offers rescued dogs and cats the greatest opportunity for a second chance. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and one of the largest no-kill cat and dog rescues in Lake County that operates a full-time adoption center. We provide a safe haven for abused, neglected, injured, lost, or animals that have escaped euthanasia. We will never put a limit on the amount of care we will provide for an animal and we never give up on them.
